Things are starting to ramp up for the
2009 BAKUC Semi-Finals, but I don't have anything I can really talk about there yet. So... In the meantime, I thought I'd throw a couple of freebies out there...
HobbyWave (our North American sponsor of the BAKUC Semi-Final) has been kind enough to throw a couple of Bandai "Gundam Decal" packs at me. Specifically, the decal sets for the
1/100 GN-006 Cherudim and
1/100 GN-007 Arios. I'd like to pass them on to you good people.
The rules are deceptively simple: All you need to do is reply to this thread with either an embedded image or a link to an image of your own 1/100 Cherudim or Arios. I want to see that you actually
have one of these models in your possession at this moment. Be the first one to post a picture of your model as a reply in this thread, and I'll send you the corresponding decal pack. Of course, you'll have to PM me a mailing address. And, since this is something I can stick in an envelope--and not a box--this contest is open to
anyone with a mailing address. Anywhere in the world.
The Fine Print: I'll try to keep this simple. You can only win
one of the decal packs--not both. So, if you've got both models, decide which one you'd rather have the Bandai waterslide decals for. This offer is open to any member of the BAKUC forums who was registered before August 18th. You must post a picture taken with a camera of your model box. You can't just link to a picture on some retailer site of the scanned-in box top. The picture you post can be of your model box, your model in-progress, or even a completed model that you'll go back and add the decals to. Regardless, I hope we'll see your model--with the decals--in the
BAKUC Gallery at some point.
Again--this is open to any registered user--anywhere in the world. Just prove you've got the goods.
