Model not showing up...
« on: February 28, 2008, 09:20:53 pm »
My model isn't showing up for public view in the galleries? I think I read somewhere that there is a process where it has to be accepted, but I'm not sure if I was imagining this, so I looked around and couldn't find anything on it. Thanks.

I just approved one of your models for the Gallery. Is it showing up now?

Sometimes the backlog of models pending approval sneaks up on us and we fall a little bit more behind than we'd like. Sorry for the inconvenience.  :)

I see your four entries sitting there, but they've all got bad thumbnails for the main picture. Go into your entries and fix your thumbnails (just re-select them and save them) and I'll get them approved.  :)

They're still showing up as bad thumbnails. When modifying your picture, make sure each picture has a thumbnail area selected and saved to the picture. Otherwise, it just shows the ol' red "X" instead of a thumbnail of your picture.

Yups, just did what U suggested, Zero. Still haven't see results.  :-\  :'(

You added an image or modified an image in it.

More importantly, I need you to delete that AoZ magazine image (I'm assuming it's from Dengeki Hobby Magazine). We can't have you (or anyone) posting copyrighted material as part of your Gallery. I would suggest either posting a link to the image (which you would host somewhere else--like Photobucket or imageshack) in the forums and then just mentioning the magazine reference here in your entry.

After you've done that, I can re-approve the entry. Thanks!

Hei, Zero. sorry for the bother. I've just edit some detail infos in my entries at the gallery the other day, but now, they're completely gone from the gallery. As well as from my profile (it said that I only have 1 entry). Could U look into it? Much appreciated.

When you edited your photos--actually, any time a member edits their photos--they go from "Approved" status to "Pending Approval" again. This is to just ensure that someone isn't being a Sneaky Pete and uploading inappropriate images to a model that's already been approved.

I'll get your models approved in just a few minutes. I would have done it sooner, but I've been out of town for the last two days for work.

EDIT: I've just been through and approved everything that's approvable. Everything that's still not approved either has a case of the red X's (spriggan, zaku_ace, dean_zala, and others) or they didn't upload any images to it (neo_sigma).

To fix the red X problem, you need to go in and make sure you have thumbnails saved on your gallery submissions. All I'm getting--and I suspect all that's being seen here on this page under your "Modeler's Gallery" is an empty box with a red X. In other words, a bad image link. Here's what you do to fix it:

1. Click on the EDIT link under your picture.
2. Drag the red hatched box over whatever you want to be the thumbnail in that picture.
3. Click "DONE" in that same window once you've selected a thumbnail area.
4. Click "Save & Finish". Once I see that you've got a thumbnail up, I'll approve the entry.
