Just a different change of option, I also watched the first 5eps and love it beside some factors. What I got out of it so far is the earth is only armed with World War I type weapons and the moon people got these FLATs which is like a cross of a mobile doll 5 fold stronger and some gundam 00 space grunt. Watching the war plains and cannons shoot mobile suits is great. I also don't mind the setting, stories and will follow to the end. I’m not a fan of the design of the mobile suits but the change is interesting. The gundam pilot gets naked to often and found some concepts really off its face funny...

But I really don't plan on thinking about the models unless it is a 1/144 FLAT smashing a few of those war plains...

One thing I didn't like about the series, at least, when I was watching it. (Didn't watch much, got distracted from it) Was there was a lot of nude parts, it just seemed weird.  :P

What are you talking about, the human wang is a beautiful thing. Jokes aside you have to admire the risk of this production of a Gundam show being as un-Gundam as possible. Like getting an out sider to design the mechs, the storie, the art house abstract elements (eg: the nude kid). I really do find this factor interesting plus being the last hand drawn Gundam production it is a land mark in history or something darmatic like it...

Ah, dont get me wrong. I don't have a single thing against the series. I think it is wonderfully animated and rich in story.  I was just creeped out by how much loran and other young males where nude. XDD In fact, the Turn A may not be my favorite design, but something about it I do enjoy. And besides, how many master grades come with a COW, come on! ( would buy it just for that... maybe even paint the Turn A like a cow)

I'm officially adding Turn A to my eventually buy list now just because it comes with a cow. I'm gonna recast it and have Turn A in a pasture of cows. ;D ;D ;D How creative is that?

Or you can recast a bunch of the cows, melt them down into sheets, then make a Turn A made of Cows...

Hmmm...............................................
Or if you like to blow money...you can get 1000 Turn-A's and use only the cows to make another Turn-A... ;D

Had a talk to my anime store and they won't give me the sub because it is really bad and hard to get. So they said just for me they put the dub on order which he will get in a few months and discount it because he knows I will watch the subtitles. He also said I will be one of the first in Australia to get the dub box set and throw in the first half of Gundam 00 in as well half price...

Go here...You'll have to pay with a credit card though...MOD EDIT: LINK REMOVED*...and that...my friend...is 70% OFF!!!...Look around that website, too...lotsa good stuff...Oh P.S. Every body...Today is a 'specially good day...Its my sisters birthday...AND...I get my MG Turn-A today! ;D

*I had to remove the link. Although the retailer has a great many legitimate releases, their entire "Import Anime DVD" section appears to consist of illegal bootlegs. The giveaways are the "All Region" encoding and Chinese subtitles. DO NOT REPOST THE STORE OR THE LINK! This falls under the same category as recasts and copyrighted material.

Between you and me that is the only way some countries can get there anime. Remember the site is fine but dont bring it here...

OWN EDIT: Apologies for the statement and due to this situation Im willing to remove it from public viewing. I quite and no hard feelings...

MOD EDIT: As a Bandai supported site, I can't even allow this statement to slide by. It's the equivalent of quietly looking the other way when we know something wrong is going on. I understand the whole "it's not licensed here and bootlegs are the only way I can see it" argument, but the BAKUC site isn't the place for such a discussion. I will say that we cannot do anything about such discussions in PM's, but we absolutely cannot allow open "PM me your bootleg info" posts, either.  :)

I like Turn-A so far, not sure if i love it though.  the first few eps remind me a lot of the beginning of Victory Gundam which is one of my faves :)

Ive watched up to 47 so far. I've enjoyed it greatly, especially how much the mech animation varies and evolves over the length of the series. The politics and how both sides have never had any real combat experience (sept maybe a few) is a nice change of pace from the other series, you get to see both sides grow as military bodies. Not to mention the alot of the series can leave you guessing on who's who.

Sorry some spoilers but I have to ask. Warning possible spoiler:
The dark history is comprised of every other Gundam Series that was made prior and even included G Gundam, Gundam Wing, and Gundam X with it. Is everything literally on the same time frame or are G Gundam and Gundam Wing at least Alt universes? Not only that but Turn-X even has a shinning finger... Is it a giant gapping plot hole or something that binds and twists Gundam History into a neatly woven Chinese rug that was made by some poor child that was rushed with blisterd hands so quickly that he couldnt get his 5 cents for the day? (If im out of line sorry, I'll remove it)
