Looking for US retailer
« on: June 19, 2010, 08:27:25 pm »
Hey all. Newbie here. I have built my first Gundam and had a blast. I want to build more. I am located in the US and am looking for a really good online source based in the US for kits. Any suggestions? Also anyone know if Bandai has plans to do the Geara Doga and Geara Zulu in 1/100 scale?

Idk about the model kits you want, but here is some good places to buy online.

I personally use this store:
www.gundamstoreandmore.com

You can also do this store: (i have not ordered from them so i don't know how they ship and all that.)
www.hobbywave.com

So far those are the only Good retailers i know of. You can order straight from Japan thru hobby link japan, but thats a long wait for products.

Can't really advise on US retailers as I mostly shop from HLJ...

As for Geara Doga, etc. in 1:100 - there have been no announcements about such products.  So the kits could come out six months from now, or we could still be waiting six years from now...  Impossible to tell, really.

I guess if the Geara Zulu continues to play a reasonably prominent role in Unicorn there's a decent chance it may come out in MG within the next few years - but it's all just speculation.

Bad news on gundam store and more, they seem to be sold our on a lot lately. Hope Thaler restock soon. Hobbywave is my next place to start getting them from. Also GundamGuy if I'm correct i's suposed to be opening a store in California sometime soon -  gginfinite.com I think is the name. But it no open yet. Google GundamGuy you will find something about him or store I'm sure.
