« on: June 01, 2010, 01:35:18 am »
Hi there gundam fans!

Is there a way to make my gunpla poseable. some parts like wings, backpack and sometimes knee and elbow joints don't stay as I wanted them to.

They keeps on falling down.

any tip on how to do it even without using a platform?

Blu tac works in most cases. If it is a peg that goes into a poly cap and it is too loose you can brush some super glue on the peg to increase the thickness.
And now... In anticipation of your insight into the future...

Thanks bro! I'll try it at home

It has to do with the male and female joints not being a perfect or near perfect fit. The solution is always the same, increase the thickness of the male joint by adding a layer of paint. Usually, modellers use gloss clear coats, or even nail polishers. Since it's clear, you won't notice the excess if the joints are clearly visible.

Since your just increasing the thickness, it doesn't really matter what you use.
