Rare Red Gundam Kit of unknown name?
« on: April 07, 2010, 03:45:36 am »
I have been searching through all the stores in Tokyo that I know of and I can't seem to find this Gundam kit again. I saw it in a collector's toy shop behind a locked cabinet and the guy wouldn't let me take it out to look at it. The box was tilted so I couldn't read it all. But, the price was 38,000 Yen

I couldn't read the whole name, but it looked like it had Night and Dream in the name somewhere.
It was a large red Gundam (in a red box), with large external armored frame. It looked simular to a Sazabi, but more armor. The box also made it look like it was a limited edition. It looked like it may have been a custom armored Zaku, but I really couldn't get that close a look.

Anyone know what Gundam this may be? And anyone know if it is being sold around Tokyo?

Is this what Ur looking for? http://www.bakuc.com/modeler/bad_andy/334
http://www.hobbyproshop.com/msn04_nightingale_1100.php

It's a Nightingale, Sazabi upgrade in the CCA: Belthorchika's Children story. There are many versions of the Nighty, if Ur looking for the Jafcon version, good luck on finding one, cos I haven't seen one either in Tokyo here. Have U checked Mandarake Nakano? They usually have rare kits. Or look in Yahoo Jp auction.

That's the one! So, it was a B-Club? I didn't know they released their customs and mods in boxes that look just like Bandai. Though I couldn't actually see any indication on the box that is was an official Gunpla, so it could have been from any manufacturer.
So, I guess at that price I should have just bought up the one I saw. Were all the other Nightingale forms custom releases as well? And are any easier to find?

Thanks for the info, that was exactly what I was looking for.

Wow! You came across a B-club Nightengale and 38,000 Yen is cheaper then the going rate. I hear its extremely hard just to find the recast. Give us a PM and I may be able to help with a cheaper garage kit option...
