The Best way to paint?
« on: March 16, 2010, 12:47:03 pm »
Hey guys, in the past I have built some gundams and now I'm starting to get back into it. I ordered some and they are on the why. I would like to change the color themes on them. But what is the best way to paint the parts (spray paint, brush, or gundam pens)?

Thanks

changing the themes and original colors its doesnt matter what technique of painting you use - either airbrush - manual paint or marker. But if you really dont want to ruined and make your kit a very successful paint job - go for airbrush. Trust me... cheers!

Im not to sure - but one thing ive been using is the citadel paint - its a waterbase paint. These color paints are usually used for my previous warhammer games. ive been using this for my gunpla for minor details.

The choice is youres, experiment with different paints on other plastic. Myself, I use enamels, acrylic, watercolors, oil & dry pastels. The list goes on. Though with water based paints you may need an already existing paint to lay onto. I also use airbrush, brushes, spray cans. It some depends on the final outcome your looking for
