Selection of glue

It has become apparent that the proper cement is a crucial detail when working on certain models. for the longest time I've been using Hypo-Cement which goes on in thick drops and hardens to a firm, rubbery finish. This slow cure cement is nice for adjusting things as they harden. I also had CA ZAP for quick fixes, but it runs like water so it has been dificult to use.

Recently though while working on my current project I realize there was no way I was going to be able to secure the small link tracks with either of these cements, so I went out and bought a bottle of Tamiya Extra Thin Cement, which comes in an inkwell shaped jar and applys with a brush in the cap. This has been a God send! It dries quickly, applies to any surface with the brush and is mess free. My project could not have continued without it.

My point is that mkaing sure you have the right cement can do a world of good.
