I'm working on some stuff for the Tekkoshocon model contest:
a Hasegawa VF-0 Battroid and a Bandai Scopedog. I felt like the Scopedog needed something, so I'm scratch-building a parachute pack for it. I chose the parachute pack because it strikes me as something an ordinary soldier would get - the pack's got a parachute to drop them into a hostile area, plus extra fuel, ammo, and storage so they can operate for longer without resupply...
Technically adequate to keep the 'dog in business for a while even if resupply or retrieval is impossible. I drew up the design and built the basic form over the course of a few days. (It's pretty easy to build boxy shapes, though it helps tremendously to plan them properly first.)
I've got about 43 days to finish whatever I want to finish for Tekko - hopefully I can pull it off.
