Well the elbow intakes turned out well I think.  They fill that void of shape left by the bicep and forearm.  I did not intentionally think of that when I planned this but I noticed it rather.  I am happy it worked out that way.  I am quite pleased with it in fact.  I also added the vertical thruster vanes from the I.W.S.P. backpack.  I sawed them down to fit and capped them with sheet styrene.  They do fill that spot behind the head we had written about.  And my wife noticed the space between them is filled by the head when seen from a certain angle.  I looked into adding folding fins under the backpack but when they are present it takes away from the jet plane feel that the backpack and chest give when the wings are out.  I also looked at the frame with the backpack and chest core removed to get a better idea of what I want to form the ground type core and backpack like.  I was pleased with the overall form there also.  Next comes the shoulder design and shaping.  I am only making one side of the body first and then I will just cast replicate it for the other side.  Saves me time and materials.  I am also considering a color scheme of blue, orange, gray, and various shades in between.  I think I might actually stick with that too.  Orange will be for highlight of decorative areas drawing the eye to my favorite parts, gray as a secondary highlight, and probably a few shades of it, and the blue as the main color.  Preshading and such will be done, and I intend to get custom decals made as well, but I want to get the decals for the V'Trall made at the same time also so I need to do the artwork first.  Oh and I also started plans for my mass production type Magnus Arms Ground Mobility (MAPR67 "Grou-Mo") which I will start a work in progress page for soon.  My base for that will be a MG RX-78-2 O.Y.W.  Oh and I might make the rifle for the Gelbrecht this weekend also time permitting.  Well for tonight, enjoy!

I did a color concept and I like it.  I didn't add in the little decals yet but this gives me a good idea of what it will look like.  Well I gotta get up in a couple hours.  ouch.  hehe.  Well enjoy!

Hehe that's nice of you to say. The hard part about picking colors I think is that there is nothing new under the sun. Every color scheme has been done and the more aesthetically pleasing, the more often it's used. All I can hope is that my actual airbrushing weathering and my design itself are pleasing and hopefully somewhat original.

I couldn't see the picture on my phone, but now that I see it I gotcha.  It's pretty close to what I'm using actually.  Maybe a little lighter.  But yeah light blue is my goal.  :)

I'm actually pretty excited about this sceme. It looks great to me. It will just take me a few hours of batch making to make the paint ratio correct and do a test run to see how it dries.
