Ok tonight I started later than I intended, the book I was reading was getting good, and my wife made spicy chicken.  Not to be missed.  Well I got a sudden inspiration that the chest needed something to provide proportion to it, so I decided to finally remake the backpack that I broke before.  I could totally remake it all myself, but I did like the wings and thrusters from the I.W.S.P. kit so they are here to stay, or for the moment.  I think I like them though.  I cannibalized a pair of moving joints from a spare set of MG freedom wings beertax traded me, and I decided I was really glad I had them.  Cheers to you mate.  The parts came in really handy when I needed them.  Well straying from using the gun wings I had envisioned for the space type Gelbrecht, I went with the wings again.  That's probably all redundant, oh well.  Cold and tired.  I gave the model the guns from the 1/100 dynames as they fit well with the aesthetic.  I am thinking of redoing the anklet to a straighter thicker piece, and the feet do need much in the way of detail and added form.  Maybe more angled blocks on the sides for support.  The back pack was filled with apoxy, and then shaped around the pegs I used for the wings, so they can rotate and lift and drop.  I still really want to build the kits MA-CR-4 heavy assault rifle and sword (nicknamed horizon), but it will have to wait.  The MA-CR-4 will have a neat blend of laser (with removable battery), energy gauge, live ammunition with removable clip, loading bolt, and drilled barrel for the ammunition, plain barrel for the laser.  And it's in a neat shape that i have repeated here.  Kind of.  Well more on the morrow.  For now, enjoy.  Sorry about the horrible pictures, the lighting sucks and my phone isn't the best at compensating.  Priming will remove the color mottling so please bare with me.

The new backpack looks ok but I think it needs some kind of stabilizer or something in the middle, that would go behind the head and upward (kinda like Hi-Nu). Are you going to mod shoulders? There is that "gimmick" that you can filp them out to show inner frame (I'm curently working on a MG Strike E + IWSP so there is a few ideas flying in my head )
Anyway keep going, the photos aren't that bad so just focus on the work (I wish I could), can't wait for the next update

Yeah man yer getting ahead of my build schedule. :). I have all these things in mind. No part of this is done yet. Just basic shaping. I only had a few hours last night. I plan on adding much to the backpack. I was going to start by adding two vertical thrusters behind the shoulders in a somewhat continuation from the chest line. It still needs a few extra fins and struts, and mayhaps a weapon holder or two. I haven't finished any part of this project yet so ye must understand what you see now is not necessarily what it will look like soon. I am still thinking of satisfactory shoulder ideas, I don't want really any of the old kit showing minus the wing parts and the frame so rest assured some idea will come along. I will be interested to watch your project as well sounds like you have it planned out.

I know it's just basic shape, I'm following all of your builds so I know your work style :D
As for my build It's just a custom paint job since this is a mental health build (A LOT was going on lately...) and I have most of it alredy painted, I stared putting decals then panel lines and weathering. There will be some mods to the weapons tough but not much.

Oh indeed, well I understand. And thanks for following my work. I do still welcome the ideas though if you like to share, I didn't mean to discourage that. And I think this is a great idea fer stress relief and such. I kinda live in my robot world a lot. Makes me happy. Not that I have a stressful time a lot but it's a wonderful escape if need be. Even paint schemes can change much if done right methinks as well. I have also followed your wip pages and I think with your minor mods and detailing you have created your own recognizable style. I will watch your wip as well with interest.

Yep yep. I will update my line drawins to show my plans as I progress. It will be preshaded and probably be white, gray, mayhaps yellow or blue in light accent colors. I also still need to paint my Vtrall. It needs to be warmer to do it. It's been under 30 degrees farenheit here for a while now. I need it warmer and less humid.

I have to be brief in my text tonight as wifey is sleepin.  I did the foot tonight, and I like it a lot.  It is large but the chest is too.  Remembering that this is a space type and mobility is an issue, the large thruster feet should come in handy.  Also the large cockpit provides excellent structural support for the cockpit.  Well for tonight, enjoy!

Thanks man. Tonight I'm going to try to build the elbow missile pods and intake. We'll see. I am also going to give the head ridge some height and extend it upwards a little.

Here's a scribbling of my idea. I might substitute the intake for a triple missile launcher.
