Qucik Advice.
« on: December 12, 2009, 08:51:00 am »
Hello, this is my first post here on the site.

Christmas time is fast approaching and I would like to pick up my first Gunpla. Although I have all the bare basics in-line to buy (Tool set, black detail marker, and of course model.), I was wondering if I needed to pick anything else up. I understand how to hide seams, but I was wondering if I would need to pick up some paint to fill in filing scratches, or will it fill after using a clear coat?

With the myriad of things that I've found on this site and other, it's a safe bet to say that I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the info and options.

Any and all help would be great appreciated.

That's nice. Do you have a diagram to show your plans?

I have a couple more questions to ask. When putting together a MG model, how do you go about cementing the parts to the frame? Also, will light sanding help the clear coat adhere better?
