Fixing Polycap joints?
« on: October 25, 2009, 05:58:52 pm »
Is there a way to make joints with a polycap not-loose? XP I don't know how to explain it, but it's like the joint is too loose, so is there a way to tighten it?

You can try putting a little bit of white ("Elmer's") glue in there.

Hi Jay,

A friend of mine actually posted this question to Kawaguchi Sensei when he came down to Singapore during the gundam Fiesta. What he advised was add a small piece of plastic (plastic bag kind) into the joints. Not only does it prevent the joints from wearing down but also makes it tighter  ;D

Hope this helps!

What I do for my kits is put a bit of super glue on the piece and let it dry. Connect it back together and bam no more loose joints XD Hope that helped. :]

yea, I put super glue on an individual polycap's peg then when it dries that's when I snap it all back together with the plastic parts.

I like to brush a few coats of FFA on both parts and put them together once they have dried. It has worked pretty well for me.
in battle the winner isn't always decided by who has the better strategy, but but who has the bigger gun and most ammo.
